“ Amazing Drive up Mexican food! Super simple menu, with Tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Then you pick from a variety meats, and toppings. The burritos were absolutely massive, as well as the tacos. We noticed a drink on the menu called a horchata, and we had to try it. It was very good! It tastes like sweet rice milk. Our food came out very fast, and prices were reasonable. The only negative was the steak was very dry. ”
“ This place is amazing. Born and raised in MC and only discovered this place a couple of years ago. Wish I had known about it my adult life! The food is fantastic, as is the dessert Horchata drink. My go-to is the steak quesadilla but the tacos are fantastic too. But I write this review because, while visiting MC for Christmas, we went to Rio's and ordered food at the walk-up window and were greeted and served by a young man who was the nicest, most professional worker I've seen in the service industry in quite some time! Didn't catch his name (young, taller) but bravo to you, young man. Wish more people conducted themselves this way. ”
“ I am a local resident and I have been a customer of this business since they opened in Michigan City at the old Hot-and-Now location on Franklin Street. I order the same products every single time: one spicy pork quesadilla with everything except lettuce, an order of half-and-half (beans and rice), three hot sauces and lime slices. In all of these 10 years my orders have NEVER been wrong, my food has never been anything but exceptional and the speed and politeness of the drive-thru workers has been consistently outstanding. This, all based on rapidly rising prices in fast food establishments and grocery price increases as of late. The prices are very reasonable for freshly made and naturally prepared items with consistent service. ”
